We may collect personal identification information from citizens when they register on the portal, submit an RTI application, file a first appeal, submit a complaint, or make online fee payments. Citizens may be requested to provide their name, email address, mailing address, contact phone number, and proof of identity where applicable under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005.
Non-personal identification information may be logged automatically whenever citizens access the system, including device model, operating system version, browser type, network provider, and technical connection metrics solely for diagnostic and security auditing purposes.
Our portal and mobile service utilize secure session tokens and cookies to maintain authenticated login sessions, track application progress, and enhance navigation. Citizens can adjust device settings to restrict cookies, though some interactive features may require active session state.

We employ state-of-the-art security practices, SSL encryption, and secure database storage to prevent unauthorized data access, tampering, or disclosure. We do not sell, rent, or trade citizens’ personal identification information to commercial entities or third parties.
